• As per Nadi Astrology, If Chandra (Moon) gets close to Budha (Mercury) (degree wise or in trine to each other or through powerful aspect or exchange), the person will be suffering from health problem/issue/ailment like throat infection/pain quite often and this combination also result in skin related issues. Now understand this. Moon + Mercury = Mind + Nerves + Fluids. Moon (Chandra) represents: Body fluids, Immunity, Emotional stability, White blood cells, Mucous, Sensitivity and reactivity. Mercury (Budha) represents: Skin, Throat, Communication organs, Fine coordination, Hypersensitivity. In Nādi Astrology logic: When two sensitive grahas combine, the body region where their significations overlap becomes vulnerable. Why Throat Problems? Let’s see the overlap: Mercury → throat, neck, gullet, tongue. Moon → trachea, bronchi, lungs, mucous, immune system. Now consider physiology and symbolically: Moon = mucous & fluids, Mercury = upper respiratory tract. When Moon (fluids) becomes unstable due to mental/emotional fluctuations and joins Mercury (air/nerves), it creates: Excess mucous, recurrent throat congestion, Allergic throat irritation. Psychosomatic throat tightness, Frequent throat infections. In astrology, Mercury is airy and nervous. Moon is watery and reactive. Air + Water imbalance → mucus disorders. • As per Nadi Astrology, If Rahu or Ketu gets close to either Jupiter or Saturn (degree wise or in trine to each other or through powerful aspect or exchange), then the person will be suffering from health problem/issue/ailment like rheumatic pain. Now understand this. Rahu and Ketu: Dry, airy, smoky, irregular, Amplify toxins, abnormal growth, autoimmune tendencies, Disturb Vata (movement principle). Jupiter: Expansion, nourishment, fat (meda), growth, Controls tissues like flesh and fat, Lubrication principle in joints. Saturn: Dryness, Extended Bones (explained below), degeneration, aging, knees, chronic disease karaka. When shadow planets (Rahu/Ketu) influence Jupiter or Saturn: Nourishment (Jupiter) gets distorted. Structure and lubrication (Saturn) gets dried or obstructed. Result → inflammatory + degenerative joint conditions. This combination resembles rheumatic disorders, where: There is inflammation (autoimmune / abnormal immune activity – Rahu), Degeneration and stiffness (Saturn) and improper fat/lubrication metabolism (Jupiter). Why Specifically Rheumatic or Joint Pain? Joint health depends on: Proper fat/lubrication (Jupiter), Extended Bones (Saturn), Controlled immune response. When Rahu + Jupiter: Abnormal expansion of inflammatory response, Autoimmune-like patterns Swelling in joints. When Vata + toxins affect joints → rheumatoid type disorders. So the Nadi principle is not random — it follows classical energetic logic. Here, Always remember that Sun is the Primary Bone Karaka. In Nadi Astrology traditions: Sun = Core vitality, Skeletal life force, Calcium metabolism principle, Central axial structure (spine authority). Think of Sun as: The bone essence (asthi dhatu source power). If Sun is weak: Bone density weakens, vital marrow strength reduces, Core skeletal vitality drops. So Sun governs the constitutional strength of bones. But Saturn governs over Extended Bones? Saturn represents: Structure, Hardness, Aging Degeneration, Peripheral parts of body, Lower half of body. Now notice something: Sun = Center, Saturn = Periphery. Extended bones like: Heel, Knees, Feet, Chin, Buttocks are all: Weight-bearing, Structural Mechanical stress areas, End-point skeletal parts. Saturn rules: Burden, Pressure, Chronic wear & tear. So Nadi Astrology logic says: Sun gives bones their life. Saturn makes them bear karma. That is why functional skeletal suffering is often Saturn-related. Sun governs: Bone vitality, Skeletal authority. Saturn governs: Knees (support system), Ankles (balance), Heel (impact absorption) Chin (lower jaw extension), Buttocks (sitting pressure). All are: Load-bearing, Mechanical, End structures. Saturn rules: Gravity, Compression, Hardness and Dryness. These are qualities directly linked with joint degeneration and extended bones. Philosophical Angle: Sun = Atma (soul center), Saturn = Karma (burden carrier). Bones represent: Structure of life, Responsibility, Support system. The outer framework (Saturn) carries what the inner vitality (Sun) creates. So if: Sun weak → weak bones constitutionally. Saturn afflicted → pain in knees, heels, joints. Why Rheumatic Pain More Linked to Saturn than Sun? Because rheumatism is: Chronic, Degenerative, Dryness based, Movement restriction, Pain during aging. These are Saturnian qualities. Sun diseases are: Acute, Inflammatory, Feverish, Sudden collapse. Saturn diseases are: Slow, Grinding, Mechanical and Persistent. Rheumatic pain fits Saturn profile more than Sun. • As per Nadi Astrology, Closeness of Saturn and Mars (degree wise or in trine to each other or through powerful aspect or exchange) may sometimes lead to health problem/issue/ailment like tooth ache/pain or tooth decaying, Stomach Ulcers, Colitis, Bowel Issues, polluted blood. The same w.r.t mars and Rahu may lead to ugly looking or uneven teeth. Now understand this. Saturn (Shani) → cold, dry, obstructive, degenerative, chronic, Vata. Mars (Mangal) → hot, inflammatory, sharp, Pitta, bleeding, infection. When these two come into close contact (conjunction, degree wise, aspect, trine, and exchange), astrology sees it as: Heat (Mars) acting under dryness + obstruction (Saturn). This combination produces: Inflammation + poor healing or Ulceration + chronicity. Tissue damage that doesn’t repair properly. Why Toothache / Tooth Decay? Mars = teeth, Saturn = decay, chronic disease, dryness. Now combine: Mars governs bone marrow and teeth vitality. Saturn governs degeneration, calcification, weakening, and aging. Mars + Saturn can indicate: Impure or poorly oxygenated blood, Circulation obstruction, inflammatory blood disorders, and slow detoxification. It means: Inflammation + stagnation. Why Mars + Rahu = Ugly or Uneven Teeth? Rahu’s Nature: Distortion, Abnormal growth, Irregularity, Amplification, Toxins, Smoke/poison, Mars: Teeth, Bone marrow. When Mars + Rahu combine: Rahu exaggerates Mars, Rahu distorts bone formation, Rahu creates asymmetry. Result: Crooked teeth, Protruding teeth, Irregular spacing, Extra teeth, Aggressive jaw structure. Basically: Mars builds structure. Rahu mutates or distorts that structure. • When Jupiter simultaneously gets very close to Venus & moon (degree wise or in trine to each other or through powerful aspect or exchange) then as per Nadi Astrology health problem/issue/ailment like breathing trouble is indicated like asthma. Here please understand that, Moon controls over The Fluid & Respiratory Matrix. In Nadi Astrology, Moon is not just “mind” — it is jala tattva (fluid principle) and governs over Trachea (windpipe), Bronchi, Lungs, Pleura, White blood cells, Plasma, Immune fluid balance. Moon represents mucosal lining, moisture, and reactive sensitivity. Asthma in modern terms is Hyper-reactive bronchi, Inflammation, Mucus overproduction and Fluid imbalance. So, all these are fundamentally Moon disturbances. Jupiter controls over Expansion & Congestion. Jupiter represents Nose and nasal passages, Fat tissue, Growth / enlargement, Kapha-type expansion. In Nadi terms, Jupiter does not create disease — it amplifies whatever it touches. When afflicted Jupiter strongly influences afflicted Moon: Mucus becomes excessive, Airways become swollen, Fluid accumulates, and Congestion increases. Asthma is often not dryness — it is over-expansion + congestion of moist tissue.That is classic Moon + Jupiter behavior. In Nadi astrology, Venus is not just “reproductive hormones” But also Sensitivity. Venus represents Sukra dhatu (refined reproductive fluid), Lubrication in the body, Pleasure receptors, Fine sensory response, Soft cellular tissue. Sukra dhatu is the most refined tissue in the dhatu chain (Rasa → Rakta → Mamsa → Meda → Asthi → Majja → Sukra). Because it is the final refined tissue, it is: Highly reactive, easily disturbed, and Sensitive to toxins, allergens, emotions. When Venus connects strongly with Moon (fluid matrix), the body becomes Hyper-responsive rather than stable. In respiratory terms: Airways overreact to pollen, dust, cold air. Not structural weakness — but exaggerated response. That exaggerated reactivity = “sensitivity.” Venus also governs epithelial linings, mucosal membranes, Skin smoothness, Cheeks & facial flesh, Reproductive lining tissues. • Again, As per Nadi Astrology, When Jupiter, Ketu and mars gets simultaneously close to each other (degree wise or in trine to each other or through powerful aspect or exchange), there is a possibility of health problem/issue/ailment like piles. If Moon also gets involved in this combination, then there is a possibility that the person will be suffering from Cancer. Now understand this. Mars: Blood, red blood cells, Inflammation, Surgery, cutting, Acute pain, Heat. Jupiter: Flesh, fat, tissue overgrowth, Expansion, Growth tendency. Ketu: Anus, Ulceration, Piercing pain, Hidden/internal diseases, Degeneration. When these three combine: Mars = inflamed blood, Jupiter = swollen tissue, Ketu = anus / rectal zone. Mars blood + Ketu anus = bleeding piles / rectal pathology. Adding Jupiter = tumor, Adding Moon = tissue proliferation. So the direction stays lower GI tract. If interpreted strictly in Nadi Astrology logic: Jupiter + Mars + Ketu → inflamed expanding tissue in anal region → piles. Adding Moon → tissue nourishment + fluid support → possible tumor. Most likely area → rectum / lower colon.

• Similarly, as per Nadi Astrology, If Saturn gets close to Sun or Moon (degree wise or in trine to each other or through powerful aspect or exchange), the person will have health problem/issue/ailment like weak eye sight also If Rahu or Ketu gets close to either Sun or Moon (degree wise or in trine to each other), then the person will have defective eye sight associated with pain, even operation related to eyes is possible (Depending on the intensity and dasha progression, cataract, color blindness, squinted eyes etc are also possible). Now understand this. In Nadi astrology logic, the Sun and Moon are the two primary luminaries, and vision is dependent on light. The Sun represents illumination, vitality, and the right eye, while the Moon represents reflected light, perception, and the left eye. Sight requires both direct light (Sun) and proper reflection/reception (Moon). When either luminary is disturbed, the “light mechanism” of the body is disturbed. In traditional astrological physiology, eyes are considered organs of light and perception, so affliction to luminaries naturally translates to weakened eyesight. When Saturn comes close to the Sun or Moon, Nadi interprets it as restriction over light. Saturn represents dryness, degeneration, obstruction, aging, and deficiency. It is cold and slow by nature. In contrast, Rahu and Ketu are shadow planets (chhaya grahas) and are directly associated with eclipses. Eclipses occur only when Rahu or Ketu align with the Sun or Moon. An eclipse blocks light — temporarily blinding the luminary. In Nadi logic, when Rahu or Ketu closely influence Sun or Moon in a natal chart, it resembles a permanent eclipse-like condition affecting the eyes. When Ketu influences the luminaries, Nadi astrologers interpret it as potential nerve damage affecting the eye — which symbolically aligns with conditions like optic nerve weakness or surgical interventions, especially if activated during intense planetary periods (dasha). The difference between Saturn’s influence and Rahu/Ketu’s influence lies in the type of damage. Saturn causes gradual weakening due to restriction and dryness — hence “weak eyesight.” Rahu and Ketu create eclipse-like distortion or sudden defects, often associated with pain or surgical correction. Nadi astrology operates on symbolic causation: light (Sun/Moon) governs sight; obstruction (Saturn) reduces strength; eclipse (Rahu/Ketu) distorts or blocks perception. The final outcome depends on intensity (degree closeness), house placement, and dasha activation, but the core reasoning is based on how each graha symbolically interacts with light and perception.

• According to nadi astrology, If Venus gets close to Moon (degree wise or in trine to each other or through powerful aspect or exchange), then the person will be suffering from health problem/issue/ailment like Diabetes. Here you must understand that Moon governs:
  Pancreas → insulin secretion

  Liver → glucose storage & release

  Kidney → filtration of blood sugar

  Urinary bladder → sugar excretion

  So Moon becomes the central regulator of glucose metabolism via body fluids. If the Moon is very weak, it indicates poor pancreatic signaling, Improper insulin balance, Disturbed liver glucose handling, Weak renal filtration. Basically a weak Moon alone already indicates metabolic instability.
  Venus governs over ovaries, uterus, semen, reproductive hormones. The reproductive system is deeply hormone-dependent and hormonally linked to insulin sensitivity.
  There is real medical interaction between: Reproductive hormones, Insulin sensitivity, Liver glucose metabolism, For example:
  a) PCOS is linked to insulin resistance (Ovarian dysfunction affects insulin resistance)

  b) Estrogen and Progesterone levels influence glucose metabolism

  A weak Moon alone may give digestive weakness, water retention, mild glandular disturbance But when Venus links: It brings: hormonal complexity, endocrine interaction, chronic metabolic imbalance, insulin resistance rather than just poor secretion. So Venus makes it more systemic and endocrine-driven, not just organ weakness.
  Because now three systems are symbolically interconnected:

• Nadi astrology also says that, When Jupiter gets close to Sun, mars or Ketu (degree wise or in trine to each other or through powerful aspect or exchange) this may lead to health problem/issue/ailment like heart related diseases for instance heart attacks/heart pain. Now understand this. Sun+ Jupiter: Sun represents vitality, circulation force, core life energy, and authority of the body. Jupiter represents expansion, growth, fat tissue, nourishment, and metabolic accumulation. When Jupiter comes very close to the Sun, it becomes combust (asta). So, Sun = heart’s vitality, Jupiter = expansion, fat, metabolic growth. If Jupiter is afflicted or overpowered by Sun there would be Excess expansion (fat deposition), Cholesterol deposition i.e. Thickening/blockage (Jupiter = growth + accumulation). Mars + Jupiter: Mars = blood, muscle tissue, inflammation, cardiac muscle, red blood cells, Jupiter = fat, growth, enlargement. The heart is a muscle supplied by blood. So: Mars governs the muscular pumping function. Jupiter governs fat and tissue accumulation. If Jupiter expands what Mars controls, there would be Thickened blood vessels, Inflammatory expansion, Sudden rupture risk (Mars = sudden, acute). So Nādi Astrology logic interpret this as: “Inflammatory expansion of muscular circulation system.” This is why such combinations are linked with heart attacks (Mars = sudden event + Jupiter = expansion). Sun + Mars: This is more directly linked to cardiac stress. Sun = heart vitality, Mars = heat, pressure, aggression, inflammation. When these two are closely connected there would be generation of excess heat in cardiac region, Blood pressure will rise, Overexertion or acute cardiac stress. This combination is more about acute events, whereas Jupiter involvement suggests chronic buildup. Jupiter + Ketu: Jupiter = growth, fat, expansion, Ketu = karaka of Anus, Nail, Hair, Penis, Urethra, Moustache. Ketu represents: Detachment, Elimination, Waste, Separation, Exit points. The anus is literally the exit of waste. Astrologically, Ketu governs things that the body rejects or discards. So the logical mapping is: Ketu = elimination principle → anus / excretion channel. Ketu represents that which is disconnected from consciousness, Parts without “life force awareness”. Hair and nails are Dead tissues, Grow without sensation, Cut without pain. So the logic becomes: Ketu = disconnected tissue → hair & nails. Also, Ketu is headless. In mythology (from the story of Rahu and Ketu during Samudra Manthan), Ketu is the body without the head. Body hair symbolism is linked to that headless form. • Further, as per Nadi Astrology, If Jupiter, Mars and Rahu simultaneously gets linked with each other (degree wise or in trine to each other or through powerful aspect or exchange), the person will suffer from health problem/issue/ailment like small pox along with pain .

Even if mars is not involved still the Moon and Rahu closeness will lead to mental hallucination. Now understand this: Moon (Chandra), Represents: Mind, Emotions, Perception, Stability of thoughts, Fluids and sensitivity. The Moon is the manas (emotional mind). • If Retrograded Guru and Rahu are located in the same sign. Both the feet of the native will get affected with Polio.

• Jupiter (Guru) is the starting point in obesity analysis because it is the natural significator (karaka) of fat, nourishment, and expansion—three core processes behind weight gain. Obesity is essentially a state of excess accumulation, and Jupiter governs the body’s tendency to store, grow, and increase mass, especially in the form of adipose tissue. When Jupiter is afflicted or weak—it can amplify the body’s natural inclination to retain and accumulate nutrients beyond need, making it the primary indicator to assess before analyzing how other planets contribute to intake, metabolism, or lifestyle factors.

•  In Vedic astrology, Venus is the primary significator (karaka) of the female reproductive system, including fertility, the uterus, and overall reproductive health, because it governs hormones, ovulation, and the capacity to conceive and sustain pregnancy; when Venus is weak (debilitated, combust, or placed in unfavorable houses) + also afflicted by simultaneous malefic influences of Saturn, Mars, or Rahu/Ketu, it can easily disrupt the hormonal balance and reproductive functioning, leading to issues such as irregular cycles, difficulty conceiving, miscarriages, or uterine disorders, which is why Venus is considered the most crucial planet in this context.

There are many diseases which I have not listed here but the planetary configurations w.r.t any disease could be derived using the above mentioned rules.

Like for example Psoriasis is a chronic immune-mediated disease that appears on the skin(i.e. If Chandra (Moon) gets close to Budha (Mercury) (degree wise or in trine to each other or through powerful aspect or exchange)) with an extra involvement of saturn as its chronic in nature + Rahu as its cause is not known. so this would be the basic condition which has to go along with its root cause condition. Now what exactly I mean by this ?

See this disease occurs when the immune system sends out faulty signals that speed up the growth cycle of skin cells(so basically skin related)

However, psoriasis has been linked to an increased risk of stroke.(that means, When Jupiter gets close to Sun, mars or Ketu (degree wise or in trine to each other or through powerful aspect or exchange) could be the cause as this may lead to heart related diseases like heart attacks).

So along with the basic condition, the root cause condition should also be present in the chart.

Though the actual cause of this disease is not known(therefore see the involvement of rahu(unknown cause) with saturn,moon and mercury).

Now, HOW TO IDENTIFY THE ACTUAL cause:

As I mentioned, the basic condition is:

If Chandra (Moon) gets close to Budha (Mercury) (degree wise or in trine to each other or through powerful aspect or exchange)) with an extra involvement of saturn as its chronic in nature, Rahu(because its cause is not exactly known)

If the above condition get satisfied then you also need to look for the root cause condition Like:

1)If Jupiter is close to Mars (degree wise or in trine to each other or through powerful aspect or exchange) then boold pressure could be the cause

2) or If Ketu is close mars (degree wise or in trine to each other), then the cause could be defective blood circulation also If Saturn or Rahu is strongly influencing Mars (degree wise or in trine to each other or through powerful aspect or exchange), then cause could be polluted blood.

3) or If Venus gets close to Moon (degree wise or in trine to each other or through powerful aspect or exchange), then Diabetes or Uterus trouble, Indigestion, Urinary Infection, Kidney trouble, Bladder trouble could be the cause for this disease.
